Day 18 ~ Making Hope Real ~ 21 Days of Manifesting Hope in Uncertain Times

“Hope is definitely not the same thing as optimism. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out.” – Vaclav Havel

MESSAGE OF THE DAY

Tody’s meditation is about helping to make real hope for others. Of course, fundamentally each person must create hope from within themselves, but we can also play an instrumental role in supporting that hope building process. The way we do this is to learn how to deeply listen, see and feel another person. When we can be with and acknowledge another person without any judgement or agenda, then our core hope is supporting their core hope on a real soul to soul level.

CENTERING THOUGHT

My hope is grounded in a deeper reality.

MANTRA + MEDITATION

“Om Eem Shreem” ~ My being radiates wisdom and abundance

REFLECTIVE JOURNAL QUESTIONS

  1. Write down the names of someone close to you who is in a bad place and needs to be uplifted. Journal about how you can inspire them without making it about your own story or your own inner journey.

  2. Reminding people of their qualities brings new hope. Write down the names of people close to you along with positive qualities you can remind them about that they may be overlooking, for example their strength, integrity, kindness, generosity, selfless service, loyalty etc. Journal about why you admire these qualities in them or specific examples of how they have demonstrated these values in their everyday life.

  3. A hopeful life is built from hopeful days. Describe ways you can make someone’s day more hopeful right now, such as telling the person you are here for them, that you are ready to give yourself, that you care.

Have a wonderful day, Amanda
