Day 12 ~ Finding the Courage to Change ~ 21 Days of Manifesting Hope in Uncertain Times

Our own self regard needs to be hopeful for us to create for ourselves in uncertain times. Taking a leap may not be the easiest way, but it is the most powerful way for you to take a step forwards the grandest vision the universe has for you. When moving into the unknown is scary, that is when hoping for change is ineffective because it postpones the actual steps forward that hope can support. Clinging to the old only keeps you stuck, but does not stop change if it is inevitable and defence against it is futile. Guide change towards the best outcome by letting go of past hindrances with hop in yourself.

“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY

To make hope effective in bringing change in our life, we need to take action. By taking action can feel threatening and scary because it stirs up all our fears and anxieties of what change might bring. In today’s meditation, we learn that the key to releasing these fears and anxieties is bringing self awareness to them and then consciously recognising that they no longer help or serve your present reality. As you reclaim the present moment, you are free to act in accord with your deepest motivations and that is where your courage is.

CENTERING THOUGHT

Hope tells me anything can be transformed

MANTRA + MEDITATION

“Om Hoom Namah” ~ My awareness is aligned with the transformative power of the universe.

REFLECTION JOURNAL QUESTIONS

  1. Journal about a few areas in your life where you hold self judgement such as thinking your not good looking enough, not lovable enough, not good enough, not smart enough, etc. Now for each one, close your eyes, take a deep breath and say to yourself “I no longer need this. I am a different person now” Continue easily until you feel settled and can accept that this self judgement can go. Write in your journal how this changes your self regard.

  2. Write down 2-3 things that you feel anxious or keep worrying about. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and say to yourself, “This is not what I want. I want change”. Continue until you feel settled and believe that change is possible. Journal about one courageous step towards change you can take right now to alleviate your anxiety and worry.

  3. Think about 2 ways you’d like your life to change – things that are of immediate importance to you. Write them down and describe how you might be blocking positive change by holding onto old habits, beliefs, or a sense of being stuck. List some short and long term goals to help foster the change you desire.
