Day 10 ~ Be Here Now ~ Getting Unstuck : Creating a Limitless Life
The push of something positive is often shadowed by negative thought and many people struggle to live in the present because they are resentful of the past or afraid of the future. We let ourselves get stuck. Instead we need to embrace each moment and learn to be here now.
“The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it”~ Thich Nhat Hanh
Message of the Day
Feeling stuck is often a product of the limits we put on ourselves through fear and doubt we have accumulated from the past. Instead of opening up to the possibilities available in the present moment, we shrink and contract.
Today we learn that the expansion of awareness that is cultivated in meditation overcomes these limitations and open us up to the creative possibilities in the present with fear or doubt.
Today’s Centering Thought
I rest with comfort and ease in the present moment.
Our Sanskrit Mantra
“Om Hreem” ~ Pure, transparent awareness is my essential nature

Journal Questions
It’s always beneficial to favour hope over doubt. Call to mind an encounter in which you consciously chose to act with love and acceptance instead of scepticism and doubt. Describe how that made you feel.
Take one strong impression from your past that tends to come back over and over. This should be a memory that continues to cause pain, self-doubt, depression, or anything equally negative. Each time it returns, say to it, “I am not that person anymore”. To strengthen your resolve to let go of this memory, journal about the positive changes that would come from releasing this particular psychological hindrance.
Now, journal about a memory you are particularly fond of. Describe it in detail, letting yourself get caught up in the good feelings it brings you. By celebrating the moments that brings us hope, we invite more of those moments into our lives. When you experience moments of negativity or doubt this week, read this journal entry for an instant pick me up.
